About Jeremiah

Jeremiah is a lifelong Norwell Community resident and 2006 graduate of Norwell High School. Since graduating, Jeremiah spent 3 years at the University of Indianapolis and Indiana University before leaving to join Indiana Kentucky Regional Council of Carpenters Local 232. In 2017, after working as a carpenter at Hagerman, Inc., a Fort Wayne-based commercial contractor, he took a role as a Project Estimator and is currently a Senior Project Estimator.

In 2011, Jeremiah married Kelsie (Johnson) Tomlin, a 2005 Norwell graduate and two-year drum major for the Marching Knights. Kelsie graduated from Purdue University with her Doctorate of Audiology (AuD) in 2013, and has owned Family Hearing Care in Yorktown, IN since November 2018.

They have two future Knights - Delaney (9), a fourth grader and Hannah (7), a first grader at Lancaster Elementary. This run for school board is driven by a strong desire to ensure the great scholastic and life education Jeremiah and Kelsie received in their tenure at Norwell continues for their daughters, their classmates, and future Knights for years to come.

UPDATE: Jeremiah has received endorsement from Right To Life of Northeast Indiana’s Political Action Committee. He’s excited for the support and proud to display that support for a great organization that supports one of his foundational beliefs.
